Why us - Budget Broker

Why us?

We do same thing, differently.

The are nearly two thousand or so energy brokers in the UK, generally are offered the same prices from each of the suppliers they have an agreement with. It is then for the broker to add their commission onto this prices this is called ‘uplift’.

These prices are then given to you as a quote. For example:-

Supplier Base Price 22pKwh

Broker Commission (Uplift) 1p Kwh

Price to you 23pKwh

If your yearly consumption is 30,000 Kwh, then you will be paying the broker 30,000 X 1p = £300

If your broker added 3p then you would be paying 30,000 x 3p = £900

Brokers are allowed to charge anything up to 3p, and this is where it sets Budget Broker apart from the rest.

We charge a flat rate of 0.2p uplift.

So, in the same scenario 30,000Kwh with Budget Broker you would pay 30,000 X 0.2p = £60

You can use our simple online tool to work out what you will pay in broker fees with Budget Broker we have no hidden extra’s consultancy bills, standing charge additions just the 0.2p
